Terms of use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This is a translation of the Italian original, which prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. The service
Convert Any File is a free tool that converts and edits images, PDFs, documents, videos, audio, spreadsheets, e-books, archives and fonts directly in the user’s browser. The service is provided by converteveryfile@gmail.com and requires no registration.
2. Permitted use
You may use the service for personal and professional purposes. You are responsible for the files you convert: make sure you have the right to process them and that you don’t infringe other people’s copyright, secrets or personal data. The PDF unlocking tools are meant to remove protection from documents whose password you legitimately know.
3. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We do our best to make sure the results are correct, but we can’t guarantee that every file will be converted without errors: always keep the originals and check converted files before using them for important purposes.
4. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the provider is not liable for data loss or indirect damage arising from the use of the service. This does not affect the mandatory rights of consumers under Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code) or the law of the country where you live.
5. Intellectual property
The site’s text, graphics and code belong to their respective owners. The open-source libraries used (including pdf-lib, pdf.js, Mediabunny and Tesseract) are distributed under their own licences, listed in the project’s LICENSES.md file. The files you convert remain yours.
6. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
7. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated; the valid version is always the one published on this page. Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
